Photography Adventures on Bjelasica Mountain
Join us for the ultimate nature photography adventure on the Bjelasica Mountain and use light, subject, and composition to create a unique set of images that reflect your special way of seeing the world. Within the tour easy hikes will be conducted to the surrounding viewpoints. We'll start from the breathtaking Vranjak Katun (1,670 m), where only mountain sounds can be heard, and walk in combination with minor 4wd to places with spectacular views.
Bjelasica Hike through the Vranjak Katun
Depart from your hotel to the Vranjak Eco Katun at 10 am. After arrival, we'll walk over the southern slopes of the Bjelasica Mountain to the first Viewpoint and the peaks Zekova glava (2,117m) and Troglava (2,072m). En route from quite a few stops we are rewarded with a 360° view of the Durmitor Mountain to the northwest, Sinjajevina Mountain to the west and Komovi Mountain to the south. From Troglava Peak we will head back towards the katun (1.30 - 2 hours total). Back in the Vranjak Katun lunch will be served outside in fresh mountain air. Before returning to the hotel (2 pm) we will enjoy the hospitality of Vranjak Eco Katun designed in the style and setting of traditional shepherd huts where gests can experience the isolated mountain life set in the grassy plains on Bjelasica.
